Machete is back....and this time, he's doing his killing in space!

 I saw this today while browsing one of my favorite websites, Quite Earth.  It seems as though director Robert Rodriguez just loves the character of Machete, played by Danny Trejo.  I didn't get a chance to catch MACHETE KILLS in the theater, but apparently this "fake" trailer accompanied the film.  The trailer is for MACHETE KILLS AGAIN...IN SPACE!    Ha, pretty crazy, and just a joke I'm sure.  But, I wouldn't doubt if we see this made someday.  MACHETE was originally a fake trailer too, but that turned into a feature film, so this could someday too!  One could only hope.  I would go see this for sure!  Ha!

Horror In Real Life: Man Murders Two Strangers With a Machete

  In this instalment of ""Horror In Real Life", we take a look at the gruesome case of 20 year old Gregory Aaron Kinsey of Ft. Smith, Arkansas.  The murders occurred a little before 10pm this past Wednesday, June 26th.  I heard about this on my local news, as Ft. Smith is only about 50 miles from where I live, and it is actually the town I was born and raised in!  Good thing I got out of there I guess!

 

According to the news report, Kinsey was walking home from a store when he confronted a group of 3 men thinking he recognized one of the men as someone that used to date his mother.  Words were exchanged and Kinsey pulled out a machete and repeatedly struck two of the the men, then left leaving them for dead.  This happened while one of the victims kids  (age 15 and 2) watched their Dad be murdered on the lawn of their own home.

  This just goes to show you that you never know what evil people have inside of them...don't pick fights with strangers, because apparently some people carry around a machete like it was a pocket knife!  Be nice to others kiddos!

  The trailer for the sequel to MACHETE was released a couple of weeks ago..I'm not sure why I am just getting around to wathcing it now!  The sequel is called MACHETE KILLS and looks as fun and crazy as the the first film.  The film is directed by Robert Rodriguez and stars Danny Trejo as the title character along with  tons of other big name actors such as Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergra Jessica Alba, Charlie Sheen, Amber Heard, Lady Gaga  Cuba Gooding Jr., and Mel Gibson!

The U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space.

I'm sure this is going to be a very fun time in the theater.  I am super excited about this one for sure!  MACHETE KILLS is scheduled for theatrical release on September 13th of this year!

I just realized that I forgot to do a review of MACHETE!!! A couple of friends and I went to see MACHETE this past Labor Day evening and we got exactly what we were hoping for.....a wild, crazy, over the top, gory, funny, action packed film! I just realized I forgot to post a review when I was browsing my friend Scott's blog and read his review. WOW..check out the newest ultra violent red band trailer for MACHETE!!!

Previous trailers have been very exciting, but this one tops them all. I saw this while browsing Firstshowing.net and just had to share it! MACHETE is directed by Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis. The film stars Danny Trejo as a man on a mission of revenge after being double crossed by his former boss. The film also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Jeff Fahey, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson, and Robert De Niro! I can't wait for this!! MACHETE is scheduled to open on September 3rd of this year!
